EDEN
‘As she dived into the dark waters her thoughts drifted away into the night. She saw an earthly paradise of abundant beauty, pleasure and light. She had entered a new reality. She entered her own private Eden.’
‘Eden’: from Late Latin, from Hebrew `ēdhen place of pleasure
A women’s search for pleasure is an evolutionary state where she seeks out a more pleasing, beautiful and harmonious state of existence. Where she seeks out a higher level of living and being where her environment, partner and life evolves beyond the past reality women have experienced. Far from being shameful, selfish and self-indulgent - pleasure is nature’s ultimate endeavour to propel us forward into a more evolved, beautiful and harmonious world.
As women many of us have been shamed and socially manipulated into believing that our personal desire for pleasure is a state of unnecessary self-indulgence, an impractical pursuit that is in opposition to the health and wellbeing of those around us. As women more often than not we are socially shamed into a complacent existence where we compromise ourselves for others and ultimately end up creating lives where we no longer want to exist far removed from our childhood dreams where our worlds were an Eden we could enter and explore.
Women who are born as abundant feminine creators have become trapped wilting flowers, cut off from their life-force. This way of modern living for women defies our abundant creationist birthright and inevitably causes us to shrivel and die. We are then criticised and shamed for no longer being in a state of bloom. This existence for women is in complete contradiction to our natural state of being. Social pressure that we should sacrifice our life-force for those around us so we can remain enslaved in a system that serves others has completely failed us as women. As we degenerate under a system that is toxic to us we are then replaced by younger versions that have been allowed to bloom but will too soon be cut like flowers from a beautiful bush and left in a vase to wither and die. Our young women are then the next generation of shrinking violets that will too soon succumb to entropy.
With our desire controlled and pleasure seeking tendencies shamed we have become slaves of a society that ultimately serves others under a system where women shrink into the devalued creatures that become just a shadow of their beautiful abundant selves. This is the reality modern life for many women and this is a life for many of us we would like to escape completely. A socially constructed constricted existence that inevitably destroys us and leaves many no longer wishing to exist as we feel the disparity between what we could be and who we are...
But far from being an unnatural state a women’s search for pleasure is a necessary evolutionary state where she seeks out a more pleasing beautiful and harmonies state to exist. Where she can improve society, lifestyle, health, enjoyment and self-love. The projected and then internalised rejection of a woman’s natural state has kept women prisoners in a patriarchal society one of which many women no longer wish to live. Ironically and beautifully a women’s search for pleasure is a miraculous evolutionary endeavour that ultimately propels us forward into seeking out and defining a more evolved world. Far from the suggested shameful abyss where we might fall and forever become lost where we abandon our children and families - ironically a woman’s desire for a more idyllic existence can only can support a better life for our children and loved ones. A more harmonious beautiful world that we create through a desire to feel good in a world that has left us ill. One that moves beyond ‘separation consciousness’ of patriarchal societies to one of unity, beauty and equality.
Our evolutionary brain is designed to seek out pleasure. In fact, the seeking or ‘coding’ for pleasure in the human brain is overdeveloped so we will continue to pursue ideal pleasing states of being.
Women’s personal sexual pleasure has been diminished in our society and now a false enactment of a women’s pleasure, that only seeks to satisfy the male gaze, has replaced a woman’s bliss and her desire to be thrilled and climax in her life. The male gaze has become so dominant we have forgotten that it is our instinctive guide as women that seeks out the ideal mate to continue the species. It is we as women that create the next more evolved generation with our own bodies. We have lost sight of the fact that it is our pleasure of state that allows us to seek out a better world for our creations to grow and bloom in.
What if we nurtured our inner self and sought out what pleased us, so it could bloom in our world? Life would shift and evolve to the benefit to all those around us. We can tend to our inner gardens and bloom so we can grow like an abundant forest of never ending regenerating life. This is our birthright as women and as natures creators. ‘Pleasure’ is a woman’s birthright and importantly an evolutionary necessity. We need to re-enter and create our own private ‘Eden’. An earthly paradise that is grown and seeded from within where a thriving, budding, blooming and expanding state is returned to us where contentment and bliss exist, where we can start to live in our own Eden and find our paradise on earth.
As women we need to nurture and grow our ‘inner self’ so it can bloom in our world. Tend to our inner garden so it can grow like an abundant forest of never ending regenerating life.
‘She saw an earthly paradise of abundant beauty, pleasure and light. She had entered a new reality. She had entered her own private Eden.’
